OUR SERVICES

Natural Pearl

Natural Pearl

A natural pearl originates from nature, forming when a foreign object enters and settles inside an oyster. The oyster's mantle tissue reacts by creating a pearl sac, utilizing calcium from water. It consists of columnar aragonite and conchiolin, enveloping the irritant to develop a lustrous surface.

Cultured Pearl

Cultured Pearl

A cultured pearl is a human innovation aimed at controlling the pearl's shape and size. By utilizing a nucleus, the shape of the pearl can be managed during its cultivation. The desired size or shape of the nucleus is implanted into the pearl oyster, stimulating the release of nacre layers to cover its surface. The grafted mantle tissue is then inserted into the oyster's tissue, resulting in the formation of a cultured pearl, typically ready for harvest within 1 to 2 years. Mabe pearls, Akoya pearls, South Sea pearls, and Rather Round pearls fall under the category of cultured pearls. While the process of forming natural and cultured pearls remains the same, the distinction lies in how the oyster receives the foreign object before developing into a beautiful pearl.

Mabe Pearl

Mabe Pearl

Mabe pearls are cultivated from specific types of oysters, scientifically known as Pteria Penguin, commonly referred to as Golden Wing or Black Wing oysters. These oysters are nurtured on the farm until they reach a diameter of 13cm or larger. Following this, single or dual beads are implanted into the oyster, and after a period of approximately 12 months suspended in the farm, they are ready for harvest. Our pearl farm has developed advanced research and techniques, enabling the cultivation of Mabe pearls in a shorter period of 10 months. Mabe pearls, often found in white and creamy colors, are cultivated from South Sea pearl oysters. Pteria Penguin oysters, commonly found in the Andaman Sea, yield unique Mabe pearls with distinctive bluish or golden tones, boasting a glamorous rainbow sparkle, exclusively sourced from the Andaman Sea.

Akoya Pearl

Akoya Pearl

Akoya pearls, cultivated from specific oysters known as Pinctada Fucada or Vulgaris oysters, are typically round pearls ranging from 2 to 9mm in diameter. These oysters are nurtured until they reach a diameter of 5 to 10cm. The nucleus is then implanted near the oyster's gonad, a delicate operation requiring utmost skill to avoid damaging the oyster. Following the implantation, the oysters are closely monitored for about 6 weeks before being transferred to our farm, where they can be harvested after 12 months.

South Sea Pearl

South Sea Pearl

South Sea pearls, starting from a diameter of 11mm, come in various colors such as white, gold, and black. Cultivated from large oysters, which are increasingly rare in nature, South Sea pearls pose a significant challenge for cultivation. Experts employ innovative bleeding and aquaculture methods, requiring a high level of care and expertise to succeed. As a result, South Sea pearls command the highest price among cultivated pearls. Specialists graft the oysters at the age of 2 years, with another 2 years required to obtain these beautiful pearls.
